The Truth About Motherhood & Success (Part 3 of 4)

I love witnessing women honor their purpose. It's truly something that lights me up and I have had the pleasure of supporting MANY women through this initiation inside of my Back to Center program and my Next-Level Mastermind. It's been a thing that I intuitively "know" about people and ultimately activate within them. I can just sense it. So today is activation for you, if you so choose to answer the call and rise to your purpose. 

The Purpose

If you are here, you know you are meant for more. And you are right. You are. 

It’s important to answer that calling.  Even as a mother...especially as a mother.  Then to remember that you don’t have to do it all, but you can have it all. And that is probably going to be one of the most important things that I say and I hope that that sticks with you.  

For so many years, I felt like I had to do everything...be the perfect mom, be the best wife,  have the most healthy, natural, organic foods and home remedies. I still value those things dearly AND now, I also allow myself to receive support. I allow myself grace. I make time for me.  And I make time for my purpose here on this planet. While being a mother is part of my purpose, it’s not the only thing I am here for. I am also here to be a leader and speaker of this message. I have more to give.  

Despite my desire to be the best mom, I wasn’t able to do that because I was filled with anger, rage and resentment which left me ungrounded and uncentered. This version of me is a yeller and freaker-outer. Not my true self. At my core, my true self is calm, grounded and centered and can handle most things with grace. But that was NOT how I was BEING for all those years. I couldn’t even see what was possible for myself during that time because I was in shame and blame not taking radical responsibility for my thoughts and actions. 

When I talk about stepping into your purpose, what I mean is saying yes to your desires and allowing pleasure. But we have to make space for the things that light us up, the work we feel called to do here in the world.  And with every yes we take a step towards that purpose, then the anger begins to subside and the joy emerges allowing our light to shine even brighter.  

Marianne Williamson says in best in one of my favorite quotes of all time….

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” - Marianne Williamson

And that has been something that has been called to me for over a decade now and I hope it speaks to you.  Because I know that when you answer your call that you already have everything you need to get to where you desire.  To be who you desire, to have what you desire. And what you think you “don’t know”, it will be shown to you, you will be guided, I promise.  You just have to trust, surrender and keep showing up and keep doing your work. I have said this before and I will say it a thousand more times...the world needs you in your purpose and power.  

The world needs you in your zone of genius, the world needs your gifts, your divine gifts, they are in each of us.  Not everyone will be called to start a business, and that’s ok, but you still have a purpose, you still have a calling, you still have light to shine in this world, on this planet.  You still have vibrations to raise. You still get to stand for what you stand for. And it’s all valid. No matter where you are on your path - I see you. I hear you. I am you.

• Write down your top 2-3 goals in the various areas of life.  What is your highest priority?
  
  
• What are your top 3-5 core values? What do you stand for? What’s important to you?
   
• Are your goals in alignment with your values?
  
  
• Are your current thoughts and beliefs in alignment with your values and goals?
  
  
• What about your actions? Are they in alignment with what you say you want?
  
  

This is usually where we can find some incongruency and the work starts here. It’s simple but oh so powerful. Which leads into next week’s topic where we will be talking about stepping into and living from your power.  Stay tuned for part 4 of the series. 

Remember: You are beyond capable.  The world needs your gifts. The world needs you at your highest frequency self, raising the vibration and frequency of others.  You fucking got this shit. Lets fucking do this! I love you.
