What I'm learning about receiving and why you need to know it too.

Receiving is something I have been learning how to do more of for several years.

For me my journey of receiving began with being able to ask and receive basic support.

While I have become really good at receiving support at home and in my business, I still have some deeper work to do on the receiving end.

I used to just ask and receive the bare minimum in child care and only during the busy season of our businesses, I didn't want to go beyond that.  But I wasn't able to REALLY ask for what I wanted.

The help that we receive now is much more extensive, including a nanny three days per week, a housekeeper, a bi-weekly cleaning service.  I have support in my business including an online business manager, a mastermind membership, and a business coach! AND we have very involved grandparents.  I have so much support! 

Being able to receive that support gives you so much freedom and allows you to expand in ways that you've never imagined in your personal life AND business!

There is also receiving support from yourself or the universe, not just receiving help from others.  Receiving support from yourself can look like investing in yourself and really getting what YOU want!

When we don't allow ourselves to receive, that does a disservice to others that want to give to you!!  Other's need for you to be open to receiving.

Take a look at where you are not receiving or where you are not getting what you want.  Become intentional about being open and willing to receive and knowing your worth.  Work on expanding your ability to receive (watch the video to hear my own expansion practice).
